Students will gain practical experience in acoustically testing microphone capsules and electrically testing electronic components (JFETS) to ensure their optimal performance in a circuit. The workshop will also guide students through building and soldering a small circuit board using the tested components. Additionally\, students will be introduced to machine shop metalworking\, providing a comprehensive overview of the skills involved in crafting high-quality microphones for home recording or live performance.
