Join us for a FREE industrial trades skills training program at the Machinists Institute! This Summer Boot Camp, taking place Monday-Friday from 9 am to 3 pm, offers extensive practical training to explore careers in high-demand industries such as aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, and maritime. Participants will receive hands-on experience and valuable skills to excel in these fields.
Highlights of the program:
Day 1- Safety training.
Day 2- Practical use of measuring tools and caring for them.
Day 3- Cutting exercises on various metals/Small machine use.
Day 4 – Hands-on experience with large machines.
Day 5- Tour of advanced manufacturing industry partners’ facilities & Networking opportunities for potential job connections on the last day.

Requirements:
The limit is 10 students.
For ages 15 years and above.
Close-toed shoes & long pants.
