1. Beach Naturalist: Low tides are swarming with marine life! Join the community to learn about Puget Sound’s marine plants and animals onshore.

2. Farm Tour and Volunteering: KCD Native Plant Nursery & CitySoil Farm: Get ready to see a fruit farm and native plant nursery followed by getting your hands dirty to give back to the community through volunteerism.

4. Community Garden Holiday Celebration: There’s much to celebrate in June, so how about we celebrate together! Join us to recognize fathers and celebrate Juneteenth week. Stumped on what to give your father? How about learning how to start your own gardening project together! Want to kick off Juneteenth week with a BIPOC community? How about coming by for our picnic party! Our STEM community garden is the center for inclusivity, fun, and learning. We’ll gather the community to learn on how to start your own garden bed at home, have some tasty food, and plant native pollinator plants at Rainier Community Center. We hope to see you there.
